A Star Candidate is an anonymised profile of a qualified candidate that a member agency has already engaged with but cannot currently place through its own client base. The profile is shared without the candidate's identity so other members can flag interest if they have a matching role.
The candidate's identity is only ever revealed once the two agencies have agreed how they will collaborate on the introduction, typically on split fee terms.
Why it matters
Star Candidates give agencies a route to generate revenue from strong candidates they cannot currently place, and give other agencies fast access to pre qualified people for live roles.
